photo share does not work

when i am using YTK Enhanced i can not do photo share.  i have double checked my settings invite zones and it is checked to allow both photoshare and file send on all the zones.  when i attempt to use it it will not open up, and also the other person can't open for me on there end.  when i am just on yahoo messenger w/o a client it seems to work ok, but works best if we are on each others friend list.  can you look into this problem for me please?

You're probably using YMSGv102 which doesn't allow photoshare.

Sign out of Yahoo! Messenger;
Go to the YTK Control Panel, Security (spider web icon), "Auto-Reconnect Protocol Version" change it to 15 if you're still using Yahoo! Messenger 8.1

Alternatively you can sign out of Yahoo! Messenger and uncheck "Auto-Reconnect".

yes, and thank you, i was just about to message you to let you know i found a similar question from another person and i worked it out from there.  what versions of messenger pertain to which actively functioning protocol, like 8.1 = 15, 9.0 = 15, etc...., so that if i change messenger versions i will know the correct protocol setting.  what does auto-reconnect actually do?  thank you.

Just disable the auto-reconnect feature and you'll be fine.

Yahoo! Messenger 8.0 - 8.1 = 15
Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 = 16
Yahoo! Messenger 10.0 = 17
Yahoo! Messenger 11.0 = 18
Yahoo! Messenger 11.5 = 19 (which has not been added to YTK yet)

YMSGv102 limits functionality so features like photoshare and webcam do not work.
