deny a buddy not always work

my deny a buddy does not seem to be working very well.  it does not always send the deny message, or acknowledge that i am not even on their buddy list.  please see if you can check this out and fix for me.   also, i did have the same question about the edit ignore message, but found where it had been said that it is disabled.  ysupra still posts it's ignore message to the room.  thanks for checking on the deny a buddy for me.

Because Y!Supra's is just plain text.

YTK's used formatting that Yahoo decided to filter. So the message was only visible locally (on your side). When the new build of YTK is ready one of the fixes will be the ignore message.

  can you please check for me to find out why the deny-a-buddy feature seems not to work too well and has stopped giving me the information across the top of my screen telling me that it has successfully removed my name from their list.

Do you see other alert's on the alert bar?

Perhaps the alert bar is off.

oh my bad, ... it was not turned on, i will try now and see how if it works, thanks for pointing that out to me.   many ppl. not just me are having problems with sending and receiving IM's  usually one can get the text, but not the other.  Any idea on how to fix this problem?  i have the problem when i am using YTK Enhanced  and when i'm on Yahoo w/ out a client, so i'm not sure where the problem comes from

The IM issue is a known server-side issue. The only workaround is creating a new ID.
