webcam and photoshare

does anybody know how to set it up so i can use webcam and photoshare? and also, occasionally YTK locks up when i try to type in a PM box and it goes into not responding and shuts down. Please help.

Also, i'm assuming that when i installed YTKE initially i set it up for 64bit on accident, and would like to know how to correct it to 32bit. thank you.

For the webcam and photoshare:

Sign out of Yahoo! Messenger but don't close it, Check in your YTK control panel, Security (spider web icon), See what it says under "Auto-Reconnect Protocol Version"

If it says 102 that is why photoshare and webcam are not working. You can either uncheck "Auto-Reconnect" on Yahoo! Messenger's login panel or set it to '17'. On '17' Facebook chat will not work though.

For the freezing issue in IM:

Read here http://www.ytk.smfnew.com/index.php?topic=1442.0 and make sure you have all of the Requirements and Dependencies. If that doesn't work try and do a clean install of Yahoo! Messenger. There is information in the above link that'll help you do a clean install of Yahoo! Messenger.

Also be sure to run YTK as administrator. By right clicking the YTK desktop shortcut and clicking "Run as administrator".

It is recommended that you right click the desktop shortcut for YTK. Click Properties and click on Compatibility. Put a check mark in "Run this program as an administrator". Click Apply then OK.
