@ranjha
Well this site isn't about malicious programs. You'll have to look for answers elsewhere.
------
Confirmed ID's over 15 characters are banned from joining. So ID's like @ymail, @rocketmail, @rogers and extremely long ID's probably won't login anymore. Unless Yahoo! lets up after a few days.

I have a friend that cant get in user her ID of only 9 characters but you are correct it does have something to do with how long an ID is it seems. I tried two of my accounts and most of the alias ID's on them are quite long and only one ID on each account out of 14 ID's work and the 2 that work only have a few characters.

Ok here is the deal, I created a new alias that was 10 characters long and I couldn't get captcha at all, I then created a 9 character alias and that ID could get in chat with no problems.

It seems that any ID that is 10 characters or longer wont be able to get captcha at least on my end.

I am hoping this isn't going to be permanent.

Looks like the ID problem is fixed. I can now enter a room with every one of my ID's ;D

Confirmed.

The ID issue is resolved. I just entered chat with a 25 character ID.
