Yahoo chat down

I know they were suppose to be doing maintenance earlier, but they still down. Anyone out there got an inside scoop as to when it might be working again.

Are you getting a chat time out error? I heard there's some names banned from chat - not sure if that's because of the ban exploits going around or not.

Well, I just heard from 4 other people some of their IDs aren't getting a captcha so it isn't just you. I bet Yahoo broke chat somehow, lol.

See i  can't get into  chat  and , There are  some ISP's  that  wont let  you  change  your IP like Mine witch is AT&T World Net Services , Is  what i have for Fiber Optic Broad-Band Cable  ,
 and i have like 20 friends on my list from around  the world  and  they can't even get into  chat ,, And not  all isp's  will  change  your ip it has  to be a dam good reason for  them to change it

is this some kind of patch by yahoo ?

It could be a partial patch of some types of ID's.
It may just take time until things work correctly.
Try getting a new IP OR change the captcha server and see what happens.

Try using an ID that is under 15 characters in length.

i try 5 char bots to scroll in room but only few got captcha
