It took me awhile to find the stereo mixer but I right clicked the real tek icon, selected Audio devices, clicked the recording tab, then right clicked inside the whitespace below microphone and up pops the sound mixer, place a check mark in the appropriate box

Yeah RealTek is good about giving you stereo mix.

But most of the add on sound cards have removed the feature.
