Yahoo! Changed up the Cam Server Again (Known Issue)
« on: July 29, 2012, 03:25:08 pm »
It seems Yahoo! may have changed up the cam server again. The temp server wc1.msg.vip.bf1.yahoo.com doesn't seem to be working much anymore. Very difficult to connect.

I can shutdown YTKE and and use Messenger as a stand alone and the cam will connect with very little trouble at all. So it would seem there are other servers Yahoo! may be using now as well.

wc1.msg.vip.bf1.yahoo.com works fine for Webcam Presence Verification. wc1.msg.vip.bf1.yahoo.com is not the server you connect your webcam with.

This is a known issue about the connection problem. Sorry I cannot offer any solution until an update is made to YTK.
