Not Able to Join Room

I recently had to reinstall the operating system in my pc as well as all the other junk that goes with it. Anyway,  I had YTKE and yahoo messenger 10,1270 installed and used it once. Now I can't join any rooms.

I tried logging messenger in without YTKE and no luck. I disabled AVAST temporarily and no luck. I did a clean removal of 10.1270 and reinstalled 9.2162 still nothing.

The whole time this has gone on, I've been using YSUPRA without incident.

Anybody have any ideas as to what the problem is?
