It'll only work with YMSGv18. Sometimes you have to go into Yahoo! Messenger's preferences and re-login Facebook. Other than that, I just tried it and it works fine for me with YTK Enhanced (Auto-Reconnect disabled).

ok so it's Auto-Reconnect that is causing facebook not to show up on messenger

Auto-Reconnect enabled in YTK with YMSGv18 will allow Facebook to work, I use it daily. It's the protocol version that's most important here, not the YMSG login type. I haven't had many FB issues but I'm sure there'd be plenty if I looked around thoroughly.

Found the answer for myself. I had to switch to an sp1 chat server.

Example:
cs215.msg.sp1.yahoo.com

Apparently ac4 servers do not work with Facebook chat.

Another reason why Facebook not showing is, as it might be linked already to another Yahoo! Account.

Try re-linking it and if you get error like "This account has already been linked to a Yahoo! account. Click here to learn more. (4091000000)", there's a work around to it.
