Flashing PM BOX

Does anybody know how to stop the PM box from flashing ? When I get a PM it pulsates till I respond to the message/s very annoying.

For all versions the setting is in the same location.

Messenger>Preferences>Alerts & Sounds>"I Receive an Instant Messenge or SMS Message">Uncheck "Flashing the message window">Apply>OK.
