did windows media player 12 get a update ???

hi i just opened my media player 12 and it was the welcome screen saying welcome to windows media 12 and asking me to set it up was wired dose it do this when it gets updated? if so how dang  stupid. anyone else seen this happen before?

oh glad it was not just me i thought i was going nuts. thats nothing i installed a new video card then got the dam windows may not be genuine crap. was wired and really strange i clicked get now and it all went back to normal. i think Microsoft is going nuts lol.
